Circle – Fatima – Eglo Records
Fatima re-affirms her position as another credible product of Soul Britannia with this pre-cursor to her debut album. Calling on the production prowess of Computer Jay and Shafiq Hussain it’s a mellow affair as one would expect, although the vote here goes to the B-side and the loping bassline of ‘Technology’, that, with its low end theory, is the perfect antidote to the unexpected-yet-welcome summer sun.
